In days of routines, demands and responsibilities, it is still very important for children to be allowed to just play.
It is significant in the development of a child’s physical and mental health. Through creative play, children are promoting a healthy brain development because they are able to strengthen many neuronal connections that would otherwise disappear or weaken if not used.
To combine play and a practical piece of furniture is the main goal of the Play Chair. Sitting, playing, storing and sharing are its main features. During free time children can play with foam bricks and stimulate their creativity.
When it is time to clean up, the building bricks are fitted back into the wooden fame of the chair; this also provides an additional seat which can be used by children’s teddybears or friends.
The Play Chair is made of durable bended plywood. It is light and easy to carry around. The five-teen foam building brick are covered in colourful fabric which can be taken off and washed.
