Deliriously fat and crunchy, chocolate chips cookies are perfect to start spoiling your figure at Christmas. 

This wordlwide renowned biscuits are almost flawless: low cost, easy-to-get ingredients (no sophisticated, exotic food to be searched for in expensive downtown delis), few-steps recipe for dummies (no masterchefs needed), loved by kids and elderlies are a perfect gift thanks to their lovely look. The only suggestion is “do not save on chocolate” whatever it means. Choose a high quality dark chocolate, no industrial drops, but bars you cut down in differently sized chips and then drop them generously into the dough.

Ingredients: 200g flour, 90g white sugar, 200g salted butter, 1/2 vanilla powder, 200g dark chocolate chips. Let the butter get soft and work it well with sugar (with a food processor or whips). Add flour without quitting whips working and the the chocolate chips with a wooden spoon Save the dough in fridge for ten minute. Pre-heat oven 175°. With your hands create small balls of dough and the flat down to shape discs. Over for 15-20 (must be golden and crisp) on a baking tray. Let them cool down, if you can before enjoying. Save in a metal box.
